Wow! Thanks for the great comments! I'll break out the Websters* and check my spelling. I think the perc' you mentioned was probably either my udu drum or a rule twanged against a tabletop- I'll have to listen to the song again to make sure which.
*- By "Websters", I'm not referring to the dictionary, but my Emmanuel Lewis clones, who through a quirk of the cloning process, can spell perfectly.
